MinkMap requires Developer Mode to be enabled on your iOS device. This is a one-time setup built into iOS.
You only need to do this once. After enabling Developer Mode, it stays on until you manually turn it off.
Enable Developer Mode
Connect your device via USB
Plug your iPhone or iPad into your computer using a USB cable.
Trust the computer on your device
When your device prompts you with Trust This Computer?, tap Trust and enter your passcode if asked.
Open Settings
On your device, open the Settings app.
Go to Privacy & Security
Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.
Tap Developer Mode
Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Developer Mode.
Toggle Developer Mode on
Tap the Developer Mode toggle to turn it on. iOS will warn you that Developer Mode reduces security — tap Restart to continue.
Restart your device
Your device will restart. After it boots back up, you’ll see a prompt asking you to confirm Developer Mode — tap Turn On.
Developer Mode is now enabled. You’re ready to connect your device to MinkMap.
