Once your device is connected, you can change its GPS location instantly from the MinkMap web app.
Set a location
You have two ways to set your device’s location:
Search bar — Type a city name, address, or landmark into the search bar at the top of the page. MinkMap will jump the map to that location and update your device’s GPS immediately.
Map click — Click anywhere on the map to set your device’s location to that exact point. You can simulate a location anywhere on Earth.
Your device’s GPS updates the moment you search or click — no delay, no additional confirmation needed. This works even when your phone screen is off.
Stop or disconnect

| Stop Location | Removes the simulated location and restores your device’s real GPS position. |
| Disconnect | Disconnects your device from MinkMap and stops all location simulation. |
Use Stop Location if you want to pause simulation but keep your device connected. Use Disconnect when you’re done with MinkMap entirely.
